Andy recently came to the Southern Pines studio to celebrate his first birthday with a cakesmash session.

He was pretty serious for the majority of the session but lit up when Mom was holding and tickling him. Their bond was beautiful to see and photograph.

 

 

He wasn’t too sure about the cake at first but really dug in and got messy after a bit!

 

 

 

Documenting the changes that happen over baby’s first year are my favorite part of being a baby photographer. Going back to link to his newborn session makes me realize how behind I am on blogging. More of Andy’s pictures coming soon!
