This fun family drove in from Hope Mills for their family session in Southern Pines.   The day started off a bit chilly but ended in a beautiful autumn morning with the sun shining and birds chirping. I had a great time photographing and getting to know the “M” family and designing a wall gallery with their session images.

Urban sessions are a nice option for portrait sessions with lots of fun textures, colors, and interesting scenery. They are the perfect place to photograph young children as we can easily roam from spot to spot. As a bonus it was Farmer’s Market day in downtown Southern Pines with fresh veggies, soaps, cheese, and meats for sale. Yum!
