I first met Emerson’s momma last fall when my youngest (Gunnar) was admitted to the hospital for possible eppiglotis, dehydration, and strep throat. It was a scary time and we had fantastic care at Moore Regional Hospital. Emerson’s mom was Gunnar’s doctor on the peds floor and she helped us get through those days.

Fast forward a year and I get to photograph her daughter, Emerson’s very first photography session!  She was a super sweet little babe and a dream to photograph.

 

We went with a tone-on-tone pallete of creams, pinks, and mauves. The antique flooring in the studio makes the perfect backdrop for our vintage props!

 

Emerson’s parents chose black shirts for their family portion. The contrast against the white studio walls really brings them to the forefront of the image. Beautiful!

Emerson’s parents chose a handmade, linen-bound album to display all their favorite images from the session and I can’t wait to post images of the final result!
