Welcome Baby L!

Meet the newest Baby Plan member, Baby L!!!  I was so excited when his parents invited me to do a lifestyle newborn session at their Fayetteville area home. Lifestyle sessions may be a bit less known than the traditional studio newborn session, but they are still a sweet and highly personalized way to document your baby’s first few days.  Instead of the traditional studio posing and restrictions of the newborn sitting taking place before baby is two weeks old, lifestyle sessions use your home as the backdrop and focus on the love and connection between your family.

Furry Friends are Family Too

We make sure every family member is involved, even fur-babies!  I can tell Brie and Baby L are going to be the best of friends as he grows up.  <3

Lifestyle Newborn Session

While there is some minor posing involved (to keep you looking your best and utilize flattering angles and light), these portrait sessions tend to be the most natural looking.  We photographed this session in both the nursery and master bedroom.  He holds the record for the biggest baby I’ve ever photographed… a whopping 10 lbs 13ozs!!

Newborn Session in Your Home

Baby L was a sweet 11 days new at this session, which is within the ideal 2 week window of photographing a newborn. But the nice thing about an in-home newborn session is having more flexibility with time scheduling than a studio newborn session, we can photograph a new baby up to six weeks old with a lifestyle session!  This is because the lifestyle newborn shoot focuses primarily on the interaction between new baby, family and the home and is much less about the perfect pose.  Just because a baby is a little older doesn’t mean you have to miss out on those precious newborn moments.
