Where are you located?

The studio is located on Broad Street in downtown Southern Pines, right over the Swank coffeeshop. It’s walking distance to several fun boutiques and restaurants, and right next to the train station.  Clients travel to the studio from all around the Sandhills region including Anderson Creek, Raeford, Fayetteville, Cary, Cameron, Spring Lake, Sanford, Hope Mills, Pinehurst, Laurinburg, New Bern, Boone, and Raleigh. I can travel for non-studio sessions (with a travel fee added for anywhere outside of a 40 mile radius of Southern Pines, NC) and have photographed Fresh48 sessions at Womack Army Medical Center, Cape Fear Hospital, and Moore Regional Hospital.


What exactly is included in the session fee?
Does it include a disc of images?

The session fee includes a consultation before your session, the session itself, and the in-person Ordering Appointment. No discs, digital files, or products are included but may be purchased at the Ordering Appointment.


When should I book my newborn session?

As soon as you know you want me to be your photographer! Preferably in your second trimester so we have time to plan. While I typically book several months in advance, there may be last minute openings depending on my schedule.

How far in advance should I schedule another type of session?

I recommend several months to be safe, but can sometimes accommodate a shorter notice of a week or so.

 

What about digital files?

Digital files are very popular these days and many people think that’s what they should be purchasing from a photographer.  My boutique photography studio is different.  While digital files are offered for purchase, they are more for safekeeping than the main staple of your order. After all, how are you going to enjoy that USB of images while it sits in your desk drawer or on your computer? What happens when the readable file type changes to the next big thing, discs are already a thing of the past as proven by Apple laptops not including CD/DVD drives in their models anymore? Instead, Simply Heaven’s specialty is the creation of something tangible with your beautiful portraits. Because I believe my clients deserve more than just a disc.


Do you offer mini sessions?

No. Minis aren’t my style. I prefer to offer my clients a fully custom portrait experience and you simply can’t do that with a mini.  I do offer clients special events throughout the year including Petite Family Sessions during the Fall Christmas Card season.

 

When do I pay the session fee?

Payment of the session fee is due when your session is scheduled or due date reserved. Openings are first come, first served and any offered date will be offered to another client if your session fee is not received. You can do this over the phone or at the consultation.


Is the session fee refundable?

No, the session fee is non-refundable but is transferable once to another date if appropriate reschedule notice is given. Reschedule must be scheduled, but might not occur, within forty-eight hours of the original appointment. Reschedule date must take place within two weeks of the original appointment.


Is there sales tax?

Yes. The North Carolina 6.75% sales tax will be added to all session fees and prints/products.
