While digital files are offered for purchase they are more for safekeeping than the main staple of your order. After all, how are you going to enjoy that USB of images while it sits in your desk drawer or on your computer? What happens when the readable file type changes to the next big thing, discs are already a thing of the past as proven by Apple laptops not including CD/DVD drives in their models anymore.
Instead Simply Heaven’s specialty lies in creating something tangible with your beautiful portraits. Something archival quality that is guaranteed to last for over one hundred years. Kara will recommend individual items based on your personal style and home’s décor and you can feel the quality and begin to imagine your own family’s memories beautifully documented for generations to come.
Your custom photography session will be photographed in the timeless style Simply Heaven Photography is known for. We will use gentle posing to capture the natural connections in your family. Backgrounds and compositions are kept simple so we can keep your child as the focus. Studio sessions are more posed while on-location sessions tend to be more candid and documentary style.
The types of images we focus on during your session depends on what final product you are looking for your individual needs we accessed at your consultation. Do you want to walk past a family portrait hanging in your hallway or maybe a beautiful sleepy baby portrait over your child’s crib to reminisce those first few days of life? Or maybe a handcrafted heirloom album that you can pull down off the shelf and flip through with your children as they grow up, gifting them the album when they are grown up and having their own children? Your session will encompass a wide range of images from those worthy of large wall displays to candid images that work together to tell the story of this time in your life.
The session will revolve around your overall goals for display (album, wall portrait, portfolio box, etc.) and is neither rushed nor will it drag on longer than needed to obtain beautiful images for the final products you are seeking. About a week after your session a time will be set up for you to come back to the studio for your Pick&Choose Appointment. This will be your first glimpse of the beautiful moments we documented during your session. Kara puts her heart and soul into your family’s portraits and is always very excited to share this special time with you! You will get to physically handle all the proofs and sort your favorites to be designed into albums, wall galleries, custom cards, and more. Kara will be sitting beside you to offer her professional expertise with sizing and finishing choices based on your individual style.
After placing and paying for your order it will take approximately 2-6 weeks to design, print, and deliver your final products.
