Sitting up sessions are so much fun!!! 6-8 months old is the perfect time to document baby midway through their first year. They’ve significantly changed from their newborn session, they are sitting up and smiling, but haven’t started leaning out and toddling like a one year baby.
And the Simply Heaven Photography Studio is the perfect place for a sitting up session. Just a short hour drive from Raleigh, it’s charming location in historic downtown Southern Pines lends a clean, beautiful feel to your photography session.
Sitting Up Pictures
The three most important stages to photograph during baby’s first year are when they are newly born (under two weeks), sitting up (6-8 months) and one year old. They change so much between each of these stages, but photographing all three sessions offers a beautiful way to remember baby’s entire first year!
Baby Twin Session
A twin baby session consists of some pictures of each twin by themselves, some together, and some with their parents. It’s important to document each baby as an individual but also telling the story of being a twin. Asher and Abigayle were super smiley during their session and we all had fun playing with them!
Baby Props
The studio has an extensive line of props and outfits for our client’s use. After photographing in a set of the twin’s clothes from home, we photographed them in a beautiful handmade bonnet set made from soft angora.
Perfect Portrait Display
The goal of each portrait session is to create finished artwork. The example below is just one of the beautiful wall solutions available for daily enjoyment. It’s a lovely wall collage made of both framed fine art prints and canvas, giving it dimension and impact that’s a joy to view daily in your home!
