Welcome Baby Kaylee!! This sweet little girl recently came to see me from Raeford, North Carolina for her newborn portrait session. We had so much fun posing her on all the different studio props. First up, this antique bowl with gray, blue, and neutral accents.
She did such a great job letting me wrap and unwrap her during slight set changes. Such a little lady!
Antique Props
We shifted from the bowl to this one-of-a-kind bed. It was originally created as a doll bed, but fits newborns perfectly! We changed up the colors of this set to neutrals and grays. It’s a timeless look that will be beautiful on Kaylee’s walls for years to come.
Newborn Poses
Timing is important for newborn sessions. Around two weeks old, babies go through a growth spurt and tend to wake up more. Posing them like this becomes more difficult. Luckily Kaylee came to see me when she was only ten days old, and barely made a peep through her entire session.
Look at that blonde hair… Isn’t she precious?
Baby and Parents
I love when parents want to get in the photographs with their newborn babies. It’s so important for babies to be able to look back on these precious moments and see you right there with them. See Kaylee smiling? I think she’s quite happy in her momma’s arms!
